Nov 15-

Dear Grade 3C Families,

Daily 5 is up and running and the children are busy with
reading and writing activities. Our wonder box has been
quite interesting as the students are inquiring about many
interesting things. Some questions are: How fast can an
ostrich run? How are toilets made? What is the biggest shark?
These are just a few super questions!

*Please ensure that your child is reading every evening
and also returning the home reading folder each week to
their teacher in order to keep track and to receive a prize for every
 completed page.

Please book a student led conference time for next
Thursday evening or Friday morning. Conference booking
opens tomorrow at 4pm. Please bring your child to the conference
as they will show you their work.

In Social, we are working on creating a slideshow about
one of the countries that we are learning about. The focus is a
holiday and some interesting facts. We will present these to
 our peers when completed.

In Math we are playing math games such as switcheroo,
General, and clock  to reinforce addition
and subtraction skills. Ask your child about these games.

We are enjoying the novel Charlie and The Chocolate Factory.
We are completing questions about the story after each chapter.
We will watch the movie once we complete the book in December.
